    I recently bought Ecostar LCD 32L510 from Islamabad. I was told that it can play all types of video formats from usb media. However, I realized after use that it cannot play .mp4 and .mkv format and not all codecs of .avi format. These are fairly common formats and can be played on Samsung LCD (also available in my home). I am told that new LCD models of Ecostar (520 series) can play abovementioned formats. I was wondering if there is any firmware upgrade available for 32L510 LCD that can be emailed to me so that I can upgrade my LCD and able to play these formats.

      Dear Waqas,
      Series 510 does support all formats but not supporting H.264, so you have to change the codec of your videos eg. if you are playing MKV or AVI, you have to change their codec to xvid under 720p resolution through some software like "Total Video converter". Than you wud be able to run your video files. if you want i can send you all codec details of 510 series.

      Other than 510 Series, all series (520, 410, 415, 600) are H.264 enable, and can play any kind of file and codec.

    I have purchased ecostar 24" 510 series yesterday and i am also facing video playback issues with mkv, flv, mov files.......can you send me the supported codec list of 510 series??? my email is fajoo24@hotmail.com.

    i purchased 3 LED TVS of 32 inches, two are simple ones (555 modal)and 3rd is Smart LED (850 modal) . my 1 TB EXTERNAL HARD DISK is working fine on simple LEDS but not working at smart tv. NO DETECTION AT ALL !! A BIG NO !! plus i wanted to connect my bluetooth headfones with smart tv.so i inserted bluetooth dongle into usb port of smart tv. and it is unsearchable !! any technical support ?? i dont think so..as i have seen already many ppl crying here....

    I bought 32inches ECOSTAR LED CX-32U557. When I connect USB to this LED and play movies , the movies are displayed in small window. I have played a number of formats including avi, HD, DVDRIP, mkv etc etc. but no format is played in full window. Can anybody help me in this regard. I have already seen a number of queries in this regard already. Can any ECOSTAR technical official help us in this regard.

    I have purchased 32U850 smart IED tv few months ago, it was working perfectly allright with live streaming & video sights like youtube etc. But from last 1 month i cant play videos from youtube or any other web also can stream live tv chanels.     AOA dear, i got problem in my ecostar LCD that it can not catch signals from Cable when cable is pluged in picture do not appear, bt when plf in USB contents of USB i.e picture video can be played. in peshawar there is no service centre of eco star. i showed it to a private person for repair he told me that one of its IC is not working and wil require to be replaced and wil cost 3500. kindly help me out.

    i have Ecostar 32 inches Smart tv i can Enlarge the Video Display With Mx player i can use Faacebook On That Mx player Supports All Formats i Use this Smart tv as a Networking Device I can access All my Computer File on it I dont Need usb i have a Complete Home Networking System I can connect my Android phone With it Wirelessly i use Skype on it i use sound cloud i know How to use DLNA it a great Feature i browse Youtube On It
    and i play san andreas On it With a Android application and With My cell phone As a controller
    and MAny many more things So Smart tv is a great thing if u know How to use it

    im using ecostar 42 LED Smart tv. im face problem some time it load screen very late more then 3, 4 mint or some time im watching movie it get stuck. even on youtube. some time it auto restart .. what is the problem i dont understand . even i did not install any extra software. even i restore LED as Factory Restore. but same issue..
    there is way to upgrade software if the ecostar company released new version firmware ?

    I have been using EcoStar for the last two years but suddenly it stopped displaying. initially that was working for a few minutes after an interval of 2-3 hour, but now that doesn't display, although power supply has no problem.

    When i switch on LCD through power button. after starting it open channel and do not go to home screen and remote only two button works yellow and green to channel button, nothing else work.
